At Hope Connection, teen survivors and their families find strength in shared understanding. While your healing journey is unique, you do not have to walk the path alone.

Find your voice in a circle of understanding. Our teen support groups offer a safe space where you can connect with others who truly understand what you are going through. Share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, knowing you are surrounded by peers who respect your journey and specialists who understand trauma healing.

Parenting a child through trauma requires extraordinary strength and compassion. Our caregiver support group brings together parents and guardians navigating similar challenges, offering both practical guidance and emotional support. Connect with others who understand your experience while gaining valuable tools to support your teen’s healing and your family’s wellbeing.

why group support?

Group support creates a powerful healing environment for survivors of sexual trauma and their caregivers by breaking through isolation and shame. When we discover we are not alone in our experiences, the burden of secrecy lifts, making space for authentic connection and validation. In groups, survivors witness others’ healing journeys, offering both hope and practical coping strategies learned firsthand. This shared understanding creates a unique sense of belonging that individual therapy alone cannot provide. Research shows that the combination of professional guidance and peer support, no matter our age, accelerates healing by addressing both the psychological impacts of trauma and the fundamental human need for community.

We are committed to creating a space where your story is honoured, your boundaries are respected, and your voice matters. Every group session, whether for teen survivors or their guardians, is guided by trained facilitators who ensure physical and emotional safety through clear agreements and compassionate support. There is no pressure to share beyond your comfort level, no judgement of your experiences or emotions, and absolute confidentiality. We believe healing happens when you feel truly seen and unconditionally accepted - and that’s our commitment to every participant who joins our community.
